Quentin Tarantino’s movie gives an interesting look at what appears to be a lighthearted, fun set. Geraldine Brezca has worked with Tarantino for several films at a variety of positions. In this film, she assumes the role of clapper/camera angel.
Typically, the clapper will use the standard NATO phonetic alphabet for calling scene designations, “Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, etc.” But, Brezca seems to operate with a slightly different system. I’m still not sure if she has a method to her madness or if she’s simply having fun, but from the small sample highlighted in the video, it seems both the crew and cast enjoy the antics the slate affords her.
