Kristin Scott Thomas, British actress from movies such as The English Patient, Confessions of a Shopaholic, and Nowhere Boy will emcee the Cannes Film Festival this year.

She is reprising her role, as she first emceed for the festival back in 1999. She will host the opening ceremony on May 12^th as well as the awards and closing ceremony on May 23^rd.
