iPhone 4 prototype discovered in a bar
What appears to be the unreleased, unannounced, 2010 version of the iPhone has been discovered in a bar in the San Francisco area. It is more industrial looking with a less curved body and has a bevy of new features, including a front-facing video chat camera, a significantly improved rear camera, a much higher resolution screen, a second noise-cancelling microphone, and some other aesthetic and practical changes. Apple remotely killed this iPhone before Gizmodo was able to play with the software features, but the discoverer of the device said that initially he was able to mess around with the OS 4 software features.
Since it operates on micro-SIM technology, this discovery does not bode well for the people hoping Verizon will get the iPhone this fall. Read all about it in this Gizmodo exclusive here.
