Last Day Dream

A couple of months ago I was having a brainstorming session with my friend Juan. We drafted several mediocre ideas for short films before Juan stopped in his tracks and exclaimed that he had a brilliant idea. He explained it to me, and although it was simple and brief, I agreed it would make for a powerful piece. Shortly after we began browsing through videos online, and just as luck would have it, we stumbled upon a film that embodied the very idea conceived by my unfortunate friend.

Needless to say, the 42 second film was brilliantly executed; a powerful combination of flashing images and synchronous music. Last Day Dream was directed by accomplished music video director Chris Milk, whose body of work includes videos for Kanye West and U2. The film was shot on Lensbaby Lenses and Canon 5D Mark II SLR Camera. Contains brief sexuality and language.
