Biz of Screenwriting: Outcome

Will your screenplay be  represented? Optioned? Sold? Made? These are things you can’t control, but what you can control is completing your screenplay. You get to determine the characters, dialogue, and the world that encompasses your writing. All other outcomes are beyond your influence so the business perspective for a screenwriter reminds us to pursue ‘outcome’. Write, submit, write, and submit. Always moving on to the next project. To the next idea and story.  Continue to write, write, write, and don’t allow yourself to get stuck on just one project.

A longer blog on this perspective can be found here. Happy writing.
