Sundance ’09: The Business Review

A mentor of mine recently pointed me to an interesting article on IndieWire.  As the film world prepares for Sundance 2010, they take an interesting look back at all of the films in competition from 2009 through a business-oriented lens.  Which films sold?  What films performed best in box office?

Take a gander at this article and let me know what you think.  Is Sundance (and the general festival circuit) still the best way to go about getting your film seen?  Maybe even more pressing, can we, as indie filmmakers, still hope to make our money back from the film?
