My little Canon 5dMkII resources
A lot of people have been excited for quite some time about the recent revolution underway in HD video. Tons of material have been written, debated, expounded, reviewed, and debated some more. While the dust is far from settling between the RED, Panasonic, and Canon fanboys, I firmly believe that the best camera is still the one you can shoot on now. As I have been shooting on the Canon 5d, I wanted to post a few resources that have really helped my workflow between that camera and Final Cut Pro. So without further ado…
1. Phillip Bloom gives a great tutorial of how and why to convert your footage for editing in FCP.
2. The proper way to convert 5d 30p footage to 24p.
3. How to get more dynamic range for color grading.
Have any other great 5d/7d/1d resources? Let me know in the comments!
