PZ featured on Directors Notes

Co-directors of Poet Zero short Cerrado Al Publico Takashi Doscher and Alex Shofner were recently featured on the podcast Director’s Notes. On the show, the two discuss their path in filmmaking, the evolution of Poet Zero, and the creation of Cerrado Al Publico.

Inspired by the creation of Francis Ford Coppola and George Lucas’ American Zoetrope filmmaking collective back in 1969, some of Atlanta’s most talented, upcoming filmmakers have banded together under the moniker Poet Zero with the express aim of, pushing the limits of no budget filmmaking through the use of the tools of the digital revolution. The first of these to emerge is the impressive short Cerrado Al Publico co-directed by Takashi Doscher and Alex Shofner who join me on the show this week.
